Celebrating Ourselves at the NYCDOE

Black folx have contributed and continue to contribute so much to the world, the United States, and the education system.

Led by employees across the DOE who are dedicated to creating a truly anti-racist public education system in New York City and the celebration of Black Lives.

Let's come together to create connections through racial affinity spaces, unpack historical influence, and celebrate Black excellence by centering us, our intersecting identities, and experiences in unapologetic and affirming ways.
